will be invited to Spark the Evolution.

This project is building on the momentum for change by uniting people all over the world around four questions to explore a global vision for a new way forward. We will then use art and music to share that vision with the world.

A Big Project Highlights

In 2012, thousands of people from 97 countries offered their ideas for how to help life change for the better. Creative people from all seven continents shared their interpretations of the ideas through art, music, and poetry.  Contributors to the event included celebrities like Dolly Parton, corporate leaders like the Intel Corporation, the United Nations, local politicians, and thousands of citizens around the world.  Click here to read the full history of A Big Project or click on the video below to see highlights.

A Big Project is currently on hiatus.  We are so very grateful for all 150 volunteers and the thousands of people who help made this project a success. And we hope that the many efforts that have spun off from our project continue to help life change for the better.

Our guiding mantra during the one year initiative included a quote by John A. Shedd, "A ship in the harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for."  We are proud to have taken a journey together that took us out of the harbor, across all four  oceans and 7 continents, through narrow straits filled with different cultures, religions, political ideologies and ways of being in the world.  What we found along the journey was a powerful idea. A better world is not only possible, but it is within our power to create it. And there are people everywhere standing by waiting to find their role to do the work to help life change.
