This project is building on the momentum for change by uniting people all over the world around four questions to explore a global vision for a new way forward. We will then use art and music to share that vision with the world.

Global Renaissance of Art and Music

DECEMBER 20, 2012 -- WHAT IS YOUR VISION A BETTER WORLD?

Express your vision of a better world using songs, dance, mosaics, paintings, photos, murals, sculptures, poetry, plays, live performance, pickup sticks, recycled soda cans, marching band spectacles, crop circles, synchronized swimming or any other creative project. Then show your work to the world on December 20th 2012 – the day before the Mayan Calendar predicts a radical shift to a more humane society.

HOW WILL ARTISTIC WORK BE PRESENTED?

Art and music are being presented three ways:

1. community based presentations of the artistic work on the ground.

2. livestream video of all artistic events occurring on Dec 20th.

3. pre-recorded video of art and music submitted prior to Dec 20th (deadline Dec 15th)

To learn more about how work will be presented, click here.

WHAT TYPES OF PROJECTS ARE BEING CREATED?

People are creating BIG art or music (however they define “Big”) that shares their vision for what a better world would actually look, feel, sound, be like… something that will inspire others to open up their minds and hearts as to what is truly possible.

WHAT CAN YOU USE TO INSPIRE YOUR PROJECTS?

People from 97 countries shared their visions for how to get to a better world.  You can see their collective visions for a better world by clicking here
